Well, more summer days are passing by and things have been actually quite relaxing here at LBI.  It’s been hot, sunny (decent beach weather) and somewhat of a nice quiet escape from the day to day grind of the world back on the other side of Barnegat Bay.  Somehow though, it is the quiet before the STORM.  Because as all of us know, August is vacation time!  And if you’re heading to LBI – let us help make your trip to this island Affordable!  Long Beach Inn – 609-492-8260;  longbeachinn@gmail.com

 

 

(Wednesday 7-19-2006)

  We all know human nature – we are prone to leaving things for the last minute.  For example – booking our rooms for our trip to the Shore.  I got two calls alone yesterday for two different teams (a softball and a baseball team) for the next couple weekends and unfortunately the Long Beach Inn was unable to accommodate them for the large blocks of rooms they needed (6+8).  That doesn’t mean we don’t have rooms, we don’t have large blocks of rooms on this short notice.

 

The other thing you should remember, is the WEATHER on Long Beach Island can be very different than New York City, North Jersey or even Philadelphia.  For instance, last night – July 18 – Tues – you may have seen the media coverage of heavy thunderstorms in those locations.  Long Beach Island DID NOT get any rain at all.  And this morning – it’s beautiful.  So make sure you understand the difference in the forecast for “Chance” of thunderstorms vs. Showers or continual rain.

The weather is here and it’s outstanding. (finally).  So why not hop in the car and head on down to LBI to get rid of all that daily stress and problems!  Get your LBI on!  We have one or two rooms left tonight (Friday) at the Long Beach Inn.  So give us a call!

It’s BEEN A PRETTY GOOD SUMMER weather wise here on LBI.  Since some heavy rain last week – and our only real rainy day of the summer (Thursday I believe), it’s been four great beach days. Soaking up the sun. Enjoying the breeze.  The amazing thing to us here at the Long Beach Inn, is – why does everybody want to go away at the same time?  Everybody is looking for rooms the last weekend in July and the first weekend in Aug. Try some different dates, and lo and behold, you might find yourself a deal!  Make sure you get down to the beach, before the summer comes and goes!  Take care. Hope to see you soon!

(Thurs 9:30 p.m. – June 29)

 

Ok, well most of you missed your chance. A $60 room on  LBI has come and gone. Another pretty nice day. Hot. Steamy. Saw some thunder clouds come and go, but no rain in Beach Haven Park.  We have some available rooms at the Long Beach Inn for Friday for one night, I can offer a great rate for the stay.  Saturday and Sunday, however, are booked.  We do have a couple available on Monday.   I want to talk about next weekend, however, when we can offer our next GREAT DEAL!  Check it out.

We had some clouds come through around 7 a.m. and a little thunder, but no rain. It was a great day on LBI despite all the bad weather around. We had sun, heat and opportunity to do some things outside. All you potential customers – you still have two nights to catch the best deal on LBI – a $60 room. (+tax) at Long Beach Inn (609)492-8260.  It basically roll back the prices!  

 

(Sunday – Evening – June 25th)

Well, it turned out to be a decent day after all. No rain after say 10:30 a.m. and the sun was out by 4 p.m.  The Island feels a little on the quiet side.  Took a ride down to the Silver Sun shop with my daughter – we’re waiting for them to stock up fresh Hermit Crabs – and the Island feels a little on the quiet side.  Although Nardi’s looked like it was a little bit of happening place this p.m. 

 

It’s probably a great week to get a deal. At the Long Beach Inn –  if you want to come this week I’m willing to work a $$$ Deal for you!!! For two people – I will put you up for $60 per night (MON thru THURS this week).  (call me at 609-492-8260 – or email me at longbeachinn@gmail.com).

(Sunday – June 25th)
